Who can apply
- Individuals aged 40 or under (born after 30 April 1986)
- Mainland household registration holders, or Hong Kong and Macao permanent residents who are Chinese citizens
- Taiwanese arts workers at mainland institutions can also apply, and music composition is an eligible field
- One project per applicant, and earlier recipients of this grant cannot reapply
