Up to €4,000 for travel by a musician or other artist from Sub-Saharan Africa or the EU to work with a partner abroad.

Individual artists and culture professionals aged 18 or older; groups and ensembles cannot apply
Based in Sub-Saharan Africa or the EU, with music among the eligible fields
An existing partner or invitation in the destination country and a clear professional purpose
Total budget of at most €4,000 per mobility

How to apply

Apply in English through the Goethe Application Portal before a quarterly cut-off

Upload a portfolio, CV, invitation or registration for the activity, passport copy and budget template

The Goethe-Institut evaluates applications after each cut-off and notifies applicants

Sign the contract, then travel; flat rates are €1,500 within Africa and €1,000 between Africa and Europe
