Who applies: Artists
When to apply: Once a year, in rounds announced by MyCV. The 2026 call is closed

Who can apply

Malaysian citizens aged 18 or over for a company, collective or society registered with SSM or JPPM
An EP or album of 3-10 new songs, or older songs given new life, never released before
At least one music video, one launch event in Malaysia and 20 jobs created
At least two music projects in the last two years, or recognised work in music

How to apply

Apply online through the MyCreative grants page, in Bahasa Malaysia only

MyCV screens applications and invites those that pass to pitch to the technical evaluation committee

The approval committee decides, and the acceptance letter follows about six months after the call closes

Sign the agreement, deliver the project and claim payment in phases against milestones and an audited report
