GST registered companies, trusts, organisations and sole traders
At least four waiata, each with at least 50% te reo Māori
A distributor for digital platforms, and a social media profile or marketing plan
Music without reo, spoken word and projects funded by NZ On Air or Creative NZ are not eligible

How to apply

Read the Request for Proposals and join the online info session

Write a proposal covering concept, te reo Māori, audience strategy, schedule, budget and applicant

Attach at least four demo recordings of waiata that will be on the project

Submit through the Te Māngai Pāho funding portal by the deadline
