Up to 60% of tour costs, to C$15,000 a year, for Manitoba recording artists touring to build new markets.

When to apply: Rolling, before the tour begins

Who can apply

Manitoba-resident artists or groups aged 18 or over; a manager or label can be the contact person
At least four confirmed shows on four different days, no more than 30 days apart and over 150 km from home
Recording mastered with a confirmed release date; Level 2 needs an MFM-funded release and a Manitoba business
Not eligible: government bodies, broadcasters, not-for-profits and charitable ventures

How to apply

First-time applicants book a consultation with the Music Programs Coordinator

Submit a complete application in the grant management portal before the tour begins

Include a tour itinerary, marketing plan, budget and financing plan

If approved, receive 60% on signing the funding agreement

Submit a final cost report with proof of payment to receive the remaining 40%
