When to apply: Two intakes a year, in spring and fall

Who can apply

Residents of Newfoundland and Labrador for at least six months; all genres are eligible
At least 80% of the project cannot be previously released material
Recording in a Newfoundland and Labrador studio unless you explain why it must happen elsewhere
Not-for-profit groups and associations are not eligible

How to apply

Pick your tier: C$2,500 open to any musician, C$5,000 with recent releases, C$10,000 with three career markers

Check the intake dates; each intake stays open for about three weeks

Apply on the MusicNL grants platform with a complete budget of all expenses and revenue

A jury reviews applications; 75% is paid up front and 25% after the final report
