DeckCraft is ArtCraft's free, open-source app to "build and deliver dynamic slide presentations", the job PowerPoint does. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and as a web build. An artist needs a deck less often than you'd think, but when the room expects one, it matters.

When an artist needs a deck

• A brand partnership or sponsorship pitch.
• Funding: a grant, an investor or a crowdfunding presentation.
• A campaign plan to walk your team or label through.
• A talk at a conference or a workshop.

Pitching music? Send a link, not a deck

Labels listen before they read. From a track or album in Aden, Send a pitch: you pick the labels, Aden drafts the email and it goes out from your own Gmail or Outlook. Every label gets its own share link, so you see who opened the email and who listened, and replies set the pitch's status for you. See how to send a demo to a record label.

For everyone else, your Brand & Press Kit page (aden.space/@yourname/epk) holds your logos, pictures, colors and links, and it's always current.

Keep the deck

Export the deck as a PDF and keep it with the source in your team's Files, so the next pitch starts from the last one.

FAQ

Is DeckCraft free?

Yes. DeckCraft is open source and free to use on macOS, Windows and Linux.

What goes in a sponsorship deck for musicians?

Who you are, your audience in numbers, what you've done with brands before, what you offer this one, and the ask. Keep it to ten slides or fewer.

Should I send a deck to a record label?

Usually not. Send the music with a short email and a private link. A deck can follow when a label asks for your plan.
