Free music tools for producers and artists, no account needed
Aden's free browser tools: find a song's key and BPM, check loudness, look up an ISRC, timestamp a song, make a snippet video and more. No account needed.

Aden has a set of free tools for artists and producers that run in your browser and need no account: the Key finder, BPM tapper, BPM to ms, MIDI editor, Loudness check, Vocal recorder, DAW project viewer, Lyrics transcriber, ISRC lookup, Proof of creation, Snippet video maker, the free download Charts and the kick generator. Each one does a single job, and most can hand what they made to Aden as a new track when you want to keep it.
This post is the map. It says what each tool is for, where it lives, what happens to your files, and which guide to read next.
Which tool do you need?
The short addresses (key.aden.space, tap.aden.space, hype.aden.space and the rest) all open the same pages on aden.space. Every tool is also a row in the search palette: press ⌘K on the site or in the app and type what you want to do, like "key", "tap" or "loudness".
Writing: key, tempo and chords
Key finder. Drop a track, type a song's name, or paste a Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud or Deezer link. It shows the key, its Camelot code and the BPM. It can also listen through your microphone or a browser tab and follow the key live. With two or more tracks it tells you whether they make a mashup, lines them up on a timeline and suggests a set order that mixes smoothly. Your files stay in your browser.
BPM tapper. Tap the pad, the space bar or any key on every beat. From the second tap you see the BPM and hear a click on your beat, so you know at once whether you are right. Nothing leaves your browser.
BPM to ms. Type or tap a tempo and get the length of every note value, straight, dotted and triplet, in milliseconds for delays or in Hz for LFOs. Press a value to copy it.
MIDI editor. Draw notes on a piano roll or type chords, hear them on piano, electric piano, guitar, synth or your own samples, and download the .mid for any DAW. It opens .mid files too.
Producing: drums, vocals and projects
Kick generator. A drum synth in the browser on tools.aden.space, with a snare, clap, hi-hat, crash and rumble beside it. Shape the sound with a few knobs or edit its curves, drop your own sample, or drop a whole song and pull the kick out of it. No plugin and no account.
Vocal recorder. Drop a beat and record your vocal over it, or over a click, with vocal effects while you sing. Takes land where you sang them. Download a 24-bit WAV. The recording stays in your browser until you download it or save it.
DAW project viewer. Open an FL Studio (.flp), Ableton Live (.als), REAPER (.rpp), DAWproject or Studio One (.song) file without the DAW. See the tempo, key, time signature, every plugin and sample, and play the arrangement. Drop the samples folder to hear it with its samples. The project is read in your browser and never leaves your device.
Finishing and releasing
Loudness check. Drop a master to see its integrated LUFS, true peak and loudness range, and how many dB Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube turn it down, or up for a quiet one. Measured in your browser.
Lyrics transcriber. Drop a song and get its lyrics from the vocals, each line timed. Paste your own lyrics first if you have them: your words stay, and each line gets its time. Download an LRC file or plain text. This one does upload the song to read it, and deletes it within a day. Five readings a day without an account.
ISRC lookup. Find the ISRC of any released song by its name or a streaming link, or the song behind an ISRC, and copy it with the release's UPC. Need your own codes instead? Read how to get an ISRC.
Proof of creation. Drop a song, a beat or a project. Your browser works out its SHA-256 fingerprint, and only that, with the file's name and size, is sent to a qualified EU timestamp authority. You get a certificate that the file existed today. The file itself never leaves your device.
Snippet video maker. Drop a song and its cover, pick the 10 seconds on the waveform and a look, and get a 1080 by 1920 MP4 for TikTok, Reels and Stories. The video is made on your device and nothing is uploaded.
Finding what is moving: the charts
Charts collects the free download charts artists and DJs watch: the Top 100 on Aden's own download gates, Hypeddit's download chart and Droploud's chart, per genre and per day. All ranks them together, and 7, 30 and 90 day views show which tracks stay up rather than spike once. Every chart, genre and day has its own address you can share, like the All chart over 7 days. Free download charts explained covers how they rank, and scouting with free download charts covers how DJs and labels use them.
What happens to your files?
| Tool | Where your audio goes |
|---|---|
| Key finder | Stays in your browser. A song found by name or link is read from a short preview, and nothing of it is kept. |
| BPM tapper | Nothing leaves your browser. |
| Loudness check | Measured in your browser. |
| Vocal recorder | Stays in your browser until you download or save it. |
| DAW project viewer | Read and played in your browser. |
| Snippet video maker | Made on your device, nothing uploaded. |
| Proof of creation | Only the fingerprint, name and size are sent to be stamped. |
| Lyrics transcriber | Uploaded to read the lyrics, deleted within a day. |
Nothing reaches Aden unless you press save.
Saving to Aden
Most tools can save what they made as a new track on Aden: the Key finder a track or a whole mashup with its layers as stems, the BPM tapper a new track at the tempo you tapped, the Lyrics transcriber the song with its lyrics, the DAW project viewer the song with its bounce, Proof of creation the song with every later version stamped too. Without an account, what you made waits in your browser while you sign up, then lands in your new workspace.
You never have to save. The tools work on their own.
Using the tools in ChatGPT and Claude
Most of the tools are also an MCP edition you can add to ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps, so you can ask in the chat and open the tool there: Key finder (mcp.aden.space/key-finder), BPM tapper (mcp.aden.space/bpm-tapper), MIDI editor (mcp.aden.space/midi-editor), Lyrics transcriber (mcp.aden.space/lyrics-transcriber), DAW project viewer (mcp.aden.space/daw-viewer), ISRC lookup (mcp.aden.space/isrc-lookup), Proof of creation (mcp.aden.space/proof-of-creation) and Snippet videos (mcp.aden.space/snippet-video).
FAQ
Are Aden's music tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on this page works without an account. A few have a daily limit without one: the Lyrics transcriber reads five songs a day and Proof of creation stamps ten files a day. You only sign up to save what you made to Aden.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The tools run in a web browser. Listening to a browser tab in the Key finder works in Chrome, Edge and the Aden desktop app.
Does Aden keep my music?
Not unless you save it. Most tools never upload your audio at all. The Lyrics transcriber uploads the song to read the vocals and deletes it within a day, and Proof of creation sends only the file's fingerprint, name and size.
What is the fastest way to find the key and BPM of a song?
Open the Key finder at tools.aden.space/key and type the song's name or paste a streaming link. It reads the key and BPM from a short preview, with no audio file needed. To check the tempo by ear, tap along in the BPM tapper at tools.aden.space/tap.
What are key.aden.space, tap.aden.space and hype.aden.space?
Short addresses for the same tools. key.aden.space opens the Key finder, tap.aden.space the BPM tapper, and hype.aden.space the free download charts, all on aden.space.
