Who can apply

Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have lived in New Brunswick for six months
Projects include full-length albums over 30 minutes and mini albums or EPs
Recordings must be marketable for radio, streaming, sync and publishing
You must hold the rights or license to the material, or own the master

How to apply

Read the 2026-2027 MID program guidelines and the Sound Recording criteria

Apply on the MNB grant platform before 4 pm Atlantic time on the deadline

Decisions come within 12 weeks; 75% is paid once the investment agreement is signed

Send a completion report in the same fiscal year to receive the balance
