Who can apply

Artists at level I, II or III; managers and producers can fill in the form, but the artist is the applicant
Costs must be paid to third parties; your own donated services count for up to C$250
One recording investment per fiscal year, and one of recording, marketing or tour per deadline
Record labels cannot apply

How to apply

Confirm your artist level; for level II or III, email the Program Manager with proof of three criteria

Complete the online application form

Attach a demo with lyrics, your bio and history, a recording plan and a project budget

A jury meets 2-3 weeks after the deadline and decisions come in four to six weeks

Deliver one new, unreleased professional recording when the project ends
