Who applies: Organisations
When to apply: Two rounds a year: 1 January to 1 February, and 1-30 June

Who can apply

Groups only, including dance, theatre and multimedia companies commissioning music for a show
The composer is a Taiwanese national or a foreign national with permanent residency
Arrangements and reworked older pieces are excluded
The proposal includes a promotion plan, such as two or more performances within three years

How to apply

Apply online through the NCAF grant system in one of the two yearly rounds

Submit the work's length, instrumentation, schedule, premiere date and venue

Attach the composer's profile, past scores and recordings, and a signed commission letter

NCAF reviews the application, the board approves, and you sign a contract before payment
