Who applies: Artists
When to apply: Two rounds a year: 1 January to 1 February, and 1-30 June

Who can apply

Individual composers only, with priority to those who compose full time
Taiwanese nationals or foreign nationals with permanent residency
Arrangements, reworked older pieces and works commissioned by government or schools are excluded

How to apply

Apply online through the NCAF grant system, or send a paper form with an electronic file

Attach a works chronology plus scores and recordings of earlier work

Describe the new work: length, instrumentation, schedule and any premiere plan

NCAF checks eligibility, a review meeting follows, and the board approves the grants

Send a results report after the project to close it and receive payment
