LightCraft: a free Lightroom alternative for musicians
LightCraft is ArtCraft's free, open-source "photo library and raw developer that runs on your machine", the job Lightroom does. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and as a web build. You keep a whole shoot in one library, develop the raw files and export what you need, and the photos stay on your computer.
What musicians use LightCraft for
- Press shoots: picking the best frames and giving them one look.
- Show and tour photos, edited the night after.
- A consistent look across every photo of a release.
- Exports at web sizes for socials and full size for press and print.
Share the shoot
Upload the selects to the media gallery of the track, album, team, show or tour they belong to. The gallery doubles as a review room: the photographer uploads, and you approve each photo or ask for changes, with the comments on the photo itself.
Photos from your fans
With a fan program on a show, anyone in the crowd uploads their photos and videos to that show's feed, no account needed. You get the night from every angle, next to the shots from your photographer.
Press photos on your press kit
Set your best shot as your profile picture or banner, and your Brand & Press Kit page (aden.space/@yourname/epk) shows it to promoters and press. After the change, Aden offers to carry the new picture to your socials, one platform at a time.
