When to apply: Two deadlines a year, in March and September

Who can apply

Edmonton residents aged 18 or over with an existing and committed arts practice
A valid Social Insurance Number, since grants are taxable income
One stream per deadline, one grant a year, and one active grant at a time
Exploration is for individuals; skills and career development and major projects also take collectives

How to apply

Choose a stream: exploration, skills and career development, or artist-driven major projects

Optionally book a 30-minute Draft Application Assistance meeting with a program advisor

Create a profile and apply in the SmartSimple portal, which opens a month before the deadline

Submit by noon on the deadline day, not midnight

Peer assessors review it, and you may get a Revision Request within two weeks of the deadline
