Emerging or established professional artists who live in Saskatchewan
Canadian citizens or permanent residents
Creation: C$7,500 for emerging artists; professional development and research: C$5,000
No more than C$36,000 per artist over four years

How to apply

Talk to the music program consultant and read the Independent Artists guidelines

Apply in the SK Arts online portal, which opens eight to twelve weeks before the deadline

Submit one application per deadline; your project can start any time after you submit

A peer panel assesses applications and may fund less than you request

Submit a final report online when the project ends
