Match funds for a classical commission

Who can apply

• Individuals, corporations, performers, ensembles and presenters commissioning a SOCAN writer member
• The commission is matched by privately raised funds; public funding cannot be the matched part
• A SOCAN member receives one grant every two calendar years; film scores are not eligible
• The work needs a public performance and cannot premiere before 15 January of the following year

How to apply

   Confirm your private funding source and that the commission fits the rules

   Sign an agreement with the commissioned SOCAN member covering the fee, completion and premiere dates
